Government Vocational Junior College, Kurnool is unique as the only government Junior college for vocational studies established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Kurnool District. The institution is a college for education and low fee with the students who can apply for SIG scholarship program besides hostel for boys and girls and bus passes and fee reimbursement too. students can apply to Amma Vodi scheme as per eligibility. The hostel is close to the college for the convenience of the student and allows the student to provide a focus on their studies in a suitable setting.

Dr. S. Nagaswamy Naik is the Principal of the Government Vocational Junior College, Kurnool. He is one of the best leaders and, of course, an accomplished educator. He has spent a considerable number of years in the education field and is more generally acknowledged for his concerted and unbelievable endeavours toward establishing academic excellence and holistic development of a student.
Under his Leadership, the Government Vocational Junior College has seen tremendous growth among students, congruously achieving in academics, vocational skills, and opportunities for placement in the career ground. Personalized mentoring and career guidance have made it possible for many new students to look forward to and, in doing so, to strengthen confidence in pursuing their desired professions. He is one of the stalwarts in the academic field, in terms of administration and welfare for students.
